Afghanistan, May 9 -- Trump has asked the Supreme Court to approve the cancellation of legal status for 500,000 immigrants from several countries.

The Trump administration has formally asked the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn a lower court ruling that blocked its move to end a humanitarian parole program created under President Joe Biden. The program currently allows over 500,000 migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela to legally enter and live in the United States for two years with work authorization, provided they have financial sponsors.

The Trump administration's legal battle over immigration policies continues, with U.S. Attorney General John Sauer filing a petition to the Supreme Court on behalf of the government.
