Afghanistan, Feb. 14 -- On Thursday, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the United States would extradite a suspect involved in the deadly 2008 Mumbai attacks to India for trial.
Trump did not disclose the identity of the suspect but Reuters reported that the individual is a Canadian-Pakistani citizen. The U.S. president made the announcement after a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the White House.
In a joint press conference, Trump expressed his satisfaction in confirming the extradition of one of the masterminds behind the horrific Mumbai terror attacks, stating that this person would face justice in India.
