Afghanistan, Jan. 22 -- President Donald Trump says talks with NATO chief Mark Rutte were constructive, shaping a future agreement on Greenland and wider Arctic security.

US President Donald Trump said his meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte helped outline a framework for a future agreement covering Greenland and the Arctic region.

Writing on his Truth Social platform, Trump said the proposed solution, if finalized, would benefit the United States and all NATO member countries.

He added that under the emerging understanding, tariffs planned for early February on European countries would not be imposed, while further discussions on a "Golden Dome" linked to Greenland were continuing.
