Afghanistan, Feb. 8 -- President Donald Trump has announced plans to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky next week in the United States to discuss the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
During a press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba, Trump expressed his intention to engage in talks with both Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin to seek an end to the war.
Trump said he will "probably be meeting with President Zelenskiy next week," adding that he also expressed interest in meeting Russian President Vladimir Putin, with whom he said he has always had a "good relationship."
Asked about the location for the meeting, Trump responded, "I'm here" in Washington, stating he would not be traveling to Ukraine....
