Afghanistan, March 15 -- Donald Trump, the U.S. President, stated that the U.S. should not have abandoned Bagram Airbase, as it is only an hour away from China's nuclear weapons production site.
During his speech at the U.S. Department of Justice, Trump reiterated his claim that China has now taken control of the Bagram Airbase. He emphasized that the way U.S. forces withdrew from Afghanistan encouraged Vladimir Putin to take action against Ukraine.
Trump once again called the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan "the most shameful day in American history," but he also claimed that U.S. forces could have left Afghanistan with dignity and strength.
