Afghanistan, Feb. 4 -- Donald Trump, the President of the United States, said on Monday that significant violence has occurred, and "there is no guarantee that the ceasefire in Gaza will continue."
Meanwhile, his special envoy for the Middle East mentioned that the ceasefire agreement and the exchange of hostages between Israel and Hamas are currently in effect.
Trump told reporters at the White House on Monday, "I have witnessed violence against the people. No one has seen anything like this before. I cannot guarantee that peace will remain."
On Tuesday, Trump will host Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. This will be the first official visit by a foreign leader since Trump began his presidency last month.
