Afghanistan, March 17 -- A new agreement between Afghan and Pakistani officials has been reached, ensuring the reopening of the Torkham border crossing tomorrow.
Officials from the Chamber of Commerce and Investment of the Taliban in Nangarhar have stated that Afghan and Pakistani traders, along with tribal elders, have reached an agreement to reopen the Torkham border crossing.
Following today's meeting, the Torkham border will officially reopen for transit tomorrow. This will allow the free movement of goods and people across the border, bringing much-needed relief to the people who rely on this crossing for trade and travel. The reopening is anticipated to restore normal activities at one of the busiest border points in the region.
