Afghanistan, Feb. 28 -- The Torkham border crossing has remained closed for the seventh consecutive day, with a long queue of trucks carrying goods waiting for the route to reopen.
According to the Associated Press, more than 5,000 trucks carrying fruits and vegetables have been halted on both sides of the border. Pakistani authorities have stated that the closure of the crossing has caused a loss of over $12 million to traders. Additionally, transportation issues have increased, making the situation extremely difficult for both traders and travelers.
