Afghanistan, Sept. 18 -- Three police officers were killed and two others critically wounded in a York, Pennsylvania shooting, authorities said, adding the gunman also died during the confrontation.
Police in Pennsylvania said three law enforcement officers were killed and two others wounded in a shooting incident in the city of York.
Christopher Paris, Pennsylvania's police commissioner, told reporters the gunman was also killed during the confrontation.
Authorities said the officers were responding to a domestic case that began the previous day when the shooting erupted.
York Hospital confirmed two of the wounded are in critical condition, and security measures in the city have been tightened as a precaution.
