Afghanistan, March 3 -- Taliban forces and Pakistani soldiers clashed at the Torkham crossing last night, leaving three Pakistani soldiers and one civilian injured.

A Pakistani militia official confirmed today that the injuries occurred during the overnight conflict. The incident took place near the Torkham border crossing.

The official claimed that the Taliban forces initiated the clash by targeting the Ayub checkpoint at Torkham. This attack sparked the exchange of fire.
