Afghanistan, April 9 -- Three Afghan refugees were acquitted of charges related to a fire at Greece's Moria refugee camp, initially sentenced to prison.
Three Afghan refugees have been acquitted by a juvenile court in Mytilene, on the island of Lesbos, Greece, after being accused of starting a fire at a refugee camp. The fire occurred at the Moria camp, which was originally designed for 3,000 people but was housing 12,600 refugees at the time.
The three refugees had initially been tried as adults and sentenced to 10 years in prison for their involvement in the fire.
