Afghanistan, April 16 -- Tehran police have arrested a serial rapist after 22 victims came forward. Investigations continue to identify additional potential victims.
Iranian media reported the arrest of a serial rapist who used fake job advertisements to lure job-seeking women into secluded areas, where he would assault and rob them.
According to the Mehr News Agency, the 35-year-old suspect, using a fake identity of "Maleki" or posing as the "husband" of an imaginary woman named "Pariya," contacted victims through job ads for positions such as house cleaning, babysitting, or elderly care.
He employed tactics such as promising employment to lure women to quiet areas near Chitgar Park or the Iran Khodro intersection in western Tehran. Aft...
