Afghanistan, July 10 -- The security forces have arrested the deputy shadow military chief of Taliban for the northern provinces, the Ministry of Interior said.

According to a statement released by interior ministry, the security forces arrested Gul Haidar alias Syed Haseeb, the deputy shadow military chief of Taliban for the North.

The statement further added that the security forces arrested Gul Haidar during an operation which was conducted in Balkh province.

Furthermore, the interior ministry said Gul Haidar was previously operating as deputy shadow governor of Taliban.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Interior said the security forces also arrested Mohamamd Asif and Agha Gul, the two comrades of Gul Haidar.
