Taliban reacts to deadly Kabul wedding hall bombing which killed at least 63
Afghanistan, Aug. 18 -- The Taliban group has rejected involvement in last night's deadly suicide attack which targeted a wedding hall in Kabul city.
Taliban group spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said in a statement that the group 'strongly condemns explosion targeting civilians inside a hotel in Kabul city.'
The statement further added "Such barbaric deliberate attacks against civilians including women & children are forbidden & unjustifiable."
No individual or group has so far claimed responsibility for the deadly explosion.
Nasrat Rahimi, a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior said the explosion took place at around 10:40 pm local time inside Hotel Shahr-e Dubai in 6th district of the city.
