Afghanistan, Oct. 18 -- Taliban Defence Minister Mullah Yaqub Mujahid and Intelligence Chief Mullah Abdul Haq Wasiq arrived in Doha for security talks with Pakistani officials amid rising border tensions.
Two senior Taliban leaders have travelled to Qatar for talks with Pakistani officials, Taliban-controlled state media reported on Saturday, amid escalating border clashes between the two neighbours.
According to reports, Defence Minister Mullah Yaqub Mujahid and Intelligence Chief Mullah Abdul Haq Wasiq arrived in Doha early Saturday. The visit aims to hold discussions with Pakistani representatives on security cooperation and cross-border tensions.
