Afghanistan, Nov. 27 -- Three Chinese nationals were killed in a drone attack on a gold-mining site near the Tajikistan-Afghanistan border, Tajik authorities said late Wednesday.
Tajikistan's Foreign Ministry said three Chinese nationals were killed late Wednesday in an attack near the Tajikistan-Afghanistan border. Officials said the strike targeted a gold-mining company facility in Tajikistan's Khatlon province.
In its statement, the ministry claimed the attack was launched from inside Afghanistan using an unmanned aerial vehicle. Taliban authorities have not yet commented on the incident.
