Afghanistan, Dec. 25 -- Tajik President Emomali Rahmon inaugurated new border security facilities near Afghanistan, reinforcing frontier defences amid rising concerns over cross-border attacks and regional instability.

Tajik President Emomali Rahmon has inaugurated four new security outposts and a specialised tank training ground along the country's border with Afghanistan, highlighting renewed efforts to strengthen frontier security.

According to a statement published on the official website of the Tajik presidency, the facilities were opened remotely by Rahmon during a visit to the Ministry of Defence.
