Afghanistan, April 26 -- Syria's Foreign Minister stated that Syria under its new government poses no threat to any country, including Israel.
In his first appearance at a United Nations Security Council meeting, Asaad Hassan Al-Shibani, the Foreign Minister of the Syrian Transitional Government, introduced himself as the representative of the new Syria. He emphasized that the actions of Bashar al-Assad's regime had destabilized the region and asserted that the current Syria posed no threat to any country, including Israel.
