Afghanistan, March 10 -- Ahmad al-Shaara, the transitional president of Syria, emphasized that the government would not allow any internal or external forces to drag Syria into chaos or a civil war. In a video speech on Sunday, March 9, al-Shaara stated that Syria is facing efforts to provoke the country into an internal conflict.

Earlier, a Syrian security official accused Hezbollah and foreign countries of being involved in the recent unrest in Syria.
