Afghanistan, Dec. 16 -- Ahmed al Ahmed, who wrestled a gun from a terrorist during the Sydney attack, says he would act again, despite being seriously wounded and in danger.
Ahmed al Ahmed, a Syrian-born fruit seller in Sydney, disarmed one of the shooters during a deadly attack on Hanukkah celebrations, saving numerous lives despite being injured. He stated he would act the same way again if faced with a similar situation.
The attack, carried out by Sajid Akram, 50, Pakistani, and his son Navid, 24, on Sunday, left at least 15 dead and dozens wounded at Bondi Beach. Sajid Akram was killed by police, while Navid was hospitalized in critical condition.
