Afghanistan, Feb. 17 -- At seven Pakistani security personnel were killed after a suicide car bombing struck a border post in Bajaur, officials said Monday evening.

Security sources in Pakistan said at least seven security personnel were killed after a suicide bomber targeted a checkpoint in Bajaur district near the Afghanistan border.

The attack occurred Monday evening in Bajaur, part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, when an explosives-laden vehicle rammed into a Frontier Corps security post.

Officials said the checkpoint, housed in a former religious school building in Bajaur, was completely destroyed, and bodies were later recovered from under the rubble.
