Afghanistan, Sept. 20 -- A deadly suicide bombing near Chaman killed at least six people and forced the closure of the vital Spin Boldak crossing between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

A suicide bombing in Chaman, near the Durand Line, left at least six people dead and caused the closure of the Spin Boldak border crossing, Pakistani media reported.

According to Express Tribune, the explosion occurred on Friday near a migrant camp close to the frontier town. Panic gripped the area as rescue teams rushed to the scene.

Authorities immediately suspended cross-border movement at Spin Boldak, halting trade and civilian travel between Pakistan and Afghanistan. Investigations into the deadly attack have been launched by security agencies.
