Afghanistan, Feb. 1 -- The Rakhshana media outlet has reported a case of sexual assault against an Afghan woman in Tehran as part of ongoing harassment of migrants in various parts of Iran.
In a report published on Saturday, February 1st, the media outlet quoted the victim of the assault, who claimed that Iranian judicial authorities refused to register her complaint for further investigation.
According to the report, on January 16th of this year, a woman named Masouma, a pseudonym, was returning from her daughters' workplace when she was picked up by an Iranian man. She was then taken to a remote desert area and sexually assaulted.
