Afghanistan, Nov. 13 -- A car explosion near Delhi's historic Red Fort killed eight people and injured 20, authorities said, prompting arrests in Jammu and Kashmir.

Eight people were killed and 20 others injured in a car explosion in India's capital, Delhi, authorities said. Seven suspects have been arrested in Jammu and Kashmir.

Police said preliminary investigations indicated the explosives had been transported from Kashmir to Delhi. No group has claimed responsibility for the blast.
