A recent report by Save the Children reveals a sharp rise in the number of Palestinian children displaced by Israeli home demolitions in the West Bank during the first half of 2025. The number has reached its highest level since record-keeping began.
According to data from the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) cited by Save the Children, over 1,200 Palestinians were displaced in the West Bank and East Jerusalem during this period. Of these, 607 were children-a significant increase from 542 in the same period of 2024 and 328 in 2023.
