Afghanistan, Nov. 4 -- A White House official confirmed that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will visit U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington to discuss regional security and bilateral relations.

Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is scheduled to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House on November 18, according to a White House official.

The upcoming visit marks a strategic moment in U.S.-Saudi ties as the Trump administration pushes Riyadh to join the Abraham Accords, a Middle East peace initiative that so far includes the UAE, Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco.
