Afghanistan, Feb. 1 -- Russia says military exports surpassed fifteen billion dollars last year, reaching over thirty countries despite sanctions and mounting Western pressure globally.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said the country's military industry exported weapons to more than 30 countries last year, generating over $15 billion in revenue.
Speaking at a Kremlin meeting on military-technical cooperation, Putin praised what he called record performance by Russia's defense industry despite growing Western pressure.
He added that Russia continues expanding markets, particularly in Africa, even as Western sanctions aim to limit Moscow's trade and military partnerships.
