Afghanistan, Nov. 16 -- Russia says it is ready to mediate between Islamabad and Kabul as rising border tensions threaten regional stability and complicate diplomatic efforts for de-escalation.
Russia said it is prepared to mediate between Pakistan and the Taliban as border tensions continue to deepen, warning that prolonged friction risks destabilising the wider region. Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told reporters on Saturday, that promoting stability across South and Central Asia remains a core priority for Moscow.
