International media reported that Russia fired more than 40 missiles at Kyiv while simultaneously launching 580 drones in a massive overnight assault on Ukraine's capital.

According to Agence France-Presse, the strikes took place on Saturday, September 20, leaving widespread destruction across several districts. At least three people were confirmed killed.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the attacks, calling them part of Russia's deliberate strategy to instill fear among civilians and cripple the country's vital infrastructure.
