Afghanistan, March 10 -- Russia's Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday, March 9, that its forces had successfully retaken several villages in the Kursk region, which were previously under Ukrainian control. The villages of Lebedivka, Malaya Luknya, Cherkaskoye, Porchnoye, and Kositsa, located near the Ukrainian border, were recaptured in a counteroffensive.
The Russian Ministry of Defense further reported that their forces are advancing toward the city of Sudzha, a key location in the region. Additionally, Russian forces claimed to have captured the village of Kostiantynopil in Donetsk and are reportedly approaching the Dniproprotsk region, an area where fighting had not been previously reported.
