Afghanistan, Nov. 13 -- Russian and Iranian foreign ministers stressed the importance of ongoing dialogue between the Afghanistan and Pakistan to resolve disputes and maintain regional stability.

Russia and Iran have welcomed the reported ceasefire agreement between the Taliban and Islamabad, reached through mediation efforts by Qatar and Turkey, officials said on Wednesday.

Russia's Foreign Ministry stated that Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, discussed the development in a phone call and expressed support for resolving disputes through political and diplomatic means.
