US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is expected to raise the possibility of Israel annexing parts of the occupied West Bank during his visit to Jerusalem, senior Israeli and American officials said.
The talks come as several Western countries prepare to recognize a Palestinian state, a move that has prompted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to seek clarity on whether US President Donald Trump would back annexation.
