Afghanistan, Aug. 15 -- RSF urged governments worldwide to grant visas to at-risk Afghan journalists, warning that many face persecution, harassment, and deportation without urgent international support and safe relocation opportunities.
Reporters Without Borders (RSF) has warned that the deportation of Afghan journalists from neighboring countries could expose them once again to torture, threats, and arbitrary detention by the Taliban. The media rights group is urging governments worldwide to provide visas and asylum to those at risk.
