Afghanistan, March 8 -- The United Nations Security Council has announced that Roza Otunbayeva, the UN Special Representative, will address the council during a meeting on Monday, March 10, regarding the situation in Afghanistan.

In the statement, it was highlighted that Otunbayeva will focus on key issues such as the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan, the conditions of Afghan women and girls, and the recent tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
