The Refugee Rights Watch has raised alarm over the prolonged delays in U.S. immigration processing for Afghan women who fled to Pakistan following the Taliban's return to power. These women, many of whom hold Priority-1 (P-1) and Priority-2 (P-2) immigration case statuses, have been stranded for over three and a half years, with their safety increasingly at risk.
