Afghanistan, June 5 -- Kremlin says President Putin is ready to assist in resolving the nuclear dispute between Tehran and Washington after recent diplomatic talks.
One day after a phone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump, the Kremlin announced Putin's readiness to help mediate tensions between Iran and the United States over nuclear issues.
According to Russian media, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Thursday, June 5, that Russia maintains close cooperative relations with Iran and could play a constructive role in resolving the nuclear standoff.
