Afghanistan, Jan. 25 -- Russian President Vladimir Putin may soon hold talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy following trilateral discussions involving the United States, Axios reported.
Axios reported, citing U.S. officials, that a potential meeting between Putin and Zelenskyy could take place in the near future.
According to the report, trilateral talks involving representatives from Russia, Ukraine and the United States were held in Abu Dhabi ahead of any leaders' meeting.
U.S. officials said the Abu Dhabi negotiations, conducted on January 23 and 24, progressed well and that they were satisfied with the current trajectory.
