Afghanistan, Oct. 20 -- The Transparent Election Foundation of Afghanistan (TEFA) has called the postponement preliminary election results as 'alarming and suspicious'.

According to a statement released by TEFA, the Independent Election Commission had prepared plan for 9 million people to cast vote in presidential elections.

However, TEFA said the turnout of voters has been recorded at least two million people.

The statement further added that the findings of the foundation show that the vote results were delayed due to political pressures and weakness in administration of the election commission to manage its programs.
