Afghanistan, Nov. 24 -- A nationwide polio vaccination campaign has launched in 17 provinces of Afghanistan, aiming to immunize 7.4 million children under five.
The Health Ministry announced the start of its fourth polio vaccination campaign for 2025 on Monday, November 24. The drive will cover 17 provinces, with 7.4 million children under five targeted for vaccination.
The campaign, which runs until November 27, will take place in 179 districts across provinces such as Kabul, Nangarhar, Logar, Kandahar, and Herat. It is being implemented with support from international health organizations.
