Afghanistan, March 5 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif thanked US President Donald Trump for recognizing Pakistan's critical role in the global fight against terrorism. The acknowledgment came after Pakistan assisted in the arrest of an individual responsible for the deadly bombing that killed 13 US service members during the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021.
