Afghanistan, Feb. 1 -- A high-level delegation from Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) is set to meet with former Afghan officials and jihadist figures in Istanbul on Saturday.
According to the reports, key attendees will include figures such as Salahuddin Rabbani, Abdul Rashid Dostum, Abdul Rab Rasul Sayyaf, Mohammad Mohaqiq, and Karim Khalili.
The meetings are expected to focus on strengthening Pakistan's engagement with political opponents of the Taliban. Discussions are also expected to cover the potential reopening of political offices for these groups in Islamabad and increased cooperation in combating the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
