Pakistani security forces have killed 54 militants in a deadly overnight operation in North Waziristan, near the border with Afghanistan, Pakistani media reported on Sunday. According to the military's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) wing, the operation, one of the deadliest in recent months, took place in the Hassan Khel area, close to a former stronghold of the Pakistani Taliban (TTP).
