Afghanistan, March 18 -- The Pakistan Army announced on Monday that it had killed three members of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) during an operation in the Khyber region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The Pakistan Army's public relations office reported that the militants were killed in the "Tur Dara" area.
According to the statement, the TTP militants were involved in several "terrorist" activities. The army also seized weapons and ammunition from the militants during the operation.
In recent days, clashes between Pakistani security forces and militant groups, especially the TTP and Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), have sharply intensified.
