Afghanistan, Feb. 22 -- Funerals were held in Nangarhar for victims of a Pakistani airstrike, as local officials said more bodies remain trapped under rubble.

Local sources in Nangarhar said nine victims of the overnight Pakistani airstrikes on Gardi Kas village in Behsud district were buried on Sunday.

Quraishi Badlon, the Taliban's information chief in Nangarhar, said six bodies remain under rubble. He previously said at least 17 civilians were killed in the strikes.

Taliban officials also confirmed that 18 members of a single family were killed in Behsud, with only four of 24 family members surviving the attack.
