Afghanistan, Sept. 15 -- In two separate meetings on Tuesday, September 14 the ambassadors of China and Pakistan to Kabul met with the acting foreign minister of Afghanistan Amir Khan Motaqi.

These are the first introductory meetings of any foreign envoy to Afghanistan with Amir Khan Motaqi after his appointment.

Pakistani envoy to Kabul, Mansoor Ahmad Khan wrote on his Twitter post that he had discussed strengthening bilateral relations, humanitarian aid to Afghan people, and people to people engagement with Amir Kham Motaqi.

In the meantime, the Chinese ambassador to Kabul Wang Yi has also met with the Afghan acting foreign minister.
