Afghanistan, Sept. 18 -- Pakistan warned the UN Security Council that militant groups including al-Qaeda, ISKP, and TTP operate from Afghanistan, threatening its national security and exploiting online propaganda platforms.

Pakistan has warned the United Nations Security Council that terrorist groups operating from Afghanistan territory represent the most serious danger to its national security.

According to Dawn on Thursday, Pakistan's permanent representative, Asim Iftikhar Ahmed, identified al-Qaeda, Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP), and Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) as groups operating with impunity from Afghanistan.
