Afghanistan, Jan. 30 -- Pakistan has raised concerns about terrorist groups getting access to leftover U.S. weapons in Afghanistan and urged Kabul to make sure these weapons don't fall into the wrong hands.
On Wednesday, January 30, News International reported that Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed deep concern over this issue.
Shafqat Ali Khan, the spokesperson for Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that the existence of these weapons after the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Afghanistan in August 2021 could pose a serious threat to Islamabad.
He emphasized that these weapons have been used by militants, particularly the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), against his country.
