Afghanistan, July 28 -- Pakistan will launch its new PRSS remote-sensing satellite from China on July 29, aiming to improve Earth observation, disaster monitoring, and environmental management.

Pakistan's Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) announced that its newest remote-sensing satellite, PRSS, will be launched into orbit on Tuesday, July 29, from China's Xichang Satellite Launch Center.

Officials said on Monday that the mission is part of Pakistan's long-term space program, Vision 2047, aimed at boosting the country's Earth observation capabilities, resource management, and disaster monitoring systems.
