Afghanistan, Feb. 23 -- Pakistan's security forces are encountering difficulties in managing violence in the Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, where armed groups have repeatedly targeted convoys transporting essential supplies to Parachinar, the district's capital. Despite an ongoing military operation in the region, a recent attack on a convoy of 19 trucks carrying goods and security personnel resulted in seven deaths and more than 20 injuries. Reports indicate that the attackers looted the trucks and set them ablaze along the highway linking Parachinar to other parts of the province.
