Afghanistan, Dec. 29 -- Conflict-related deaths in Pakistan surged 73% in 2025, with militants, security forces and civilians all suffering heavy losses amid intensifying attacks, a security report said.
Pakistan witnessed a sharp surge in conflict-related violence in 2025, with deaths rising by 73 percent compared with the previous year, a security think tank reported.
According to the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICSS), at least 2,115 militants, 664 security personnel, and 580 civilians were killed, making 2025 the deadliest year for insurgents.
